Had a nice meal today with my dad and brother. All the food was great, the young lady serving us was a credit to the place never caught her name. The views are also incredible.
Managed to get a table for Sunday evening last minute while staying in the village. Had a treat and decided on the Sirloin steak and what a treat. It was perfectly cooked and a lovely Chorizo sauce , chips and fresh salad. Service was excellent from the 3 young ladies on duty. Well done team
The Strontian Hotel on Loch Sunart is an absolute gem. The hotel is a treat with its sublime location, a great pub and restaurant makes for a pleasant stay. The staff are marvellous, have never felt so welcomed in place for a very long time. Drinks come cold and food spectacular.
We were staying at the nearby campsite and strolled along for an evening meal. Excellent pub food and drink. We both had steak and had the unusual experience of the server looking at our steaks and sending them back because she noticed they weren’t medium as ordered but more on the rare side! They then took off the cost of our wine to compensate for our inconvenience! Top marks for customer service! Would definitely go back again.
My daughter Charlote and her hubby had her wedding there on Saturday. Fantastic hotel and bar. Staff were brilliant, best wedding I've ever been to. My doggy had the run of the place.
What a spot! The location is stunning, the hotel is nice, staff are very good and the breakfast was great. The Bothy bar next door serves lively food and the bar is pet friendly, locals have a bit of chat and Debbie looked after us for the 2 nights we're stayed. Highly recommend.
We had an amazing experience during our one-night stay at this charming hotel in rural Scotland. The room and toilet were exceptionally clean, which was a pleasant surprise. The owner, a lovely lady, was incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. While the restaurant offered basic fare and the food was average, it wasn't too bad. But what truly stole the show was the outstanding area and location of the hotel. The natural beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking, and I found myself captivated by the picturesque landscape. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the tranquility and beauty of rural Scotland!
